How very odd doc. Do you think he was hopeful of a commission?
Bit worrying when they don't know any plants though
Wonks - is hubby going to be feeding you grapes, and then run around doing everything while you lounge on a chaise and shout orders? It's the very least you could do in the circumstances....
Hosta - it's a real pain in the...well, the tummy....
Grass cut, deadheading done, and a bit of pottering, plus helping daughter jigsaw a sword type thing out of acrylic. You don't want to know...really...you don't...
Better heat up leftovers for dinner. I love being on my own!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fairy, can't really see it happening! but I do keep him in the basement with his toys and he only requires feeding and as Dove and I have gone against my usual and bought some tasty instant dinners, think I can just about manage, but I'll want a lot of appreciation obviously!
BusyL, sounds like a lovely time with your family! Shame about the weather cutting it short but probably a wise move to avoid the rush hour
I think you must be hanging around with the wrong people on Facebook then, Hosta .
Evening all. Very soggy here right now, but a dry, v cool day. The rain turned up exactly as forecast so I managed to get a load of washing dry beforehand. Does anyone else think we've gone from summer into full-on autumn rather quickly? I'm sure its usually more gradual.
Glad your Dad is over the worst, Chicky. Hope this w/e goes well and you've planned plenty to keep you busy next week. Wonky, your pain sounds awful. Glad the treatment seems to be working though. And Hosta, I'm glad you're keeping on at the doctors.
I too am wondering where Pat is. Pat! Pa-at! Hope all is well.
LilyP, good to hear you enjoyed your holiday. Hope the sniffles don't turn into anything.
I know there were other people to speak to but my mind has gone blank. Sorry.

Ah ... I typed that a while ago but then OH came home from work and I didn't hit Submit ... so it's a bit 'overdue'

I have to say , I'm glad there isn't. I've seen all sorts of arguments on FB " why did you LIKE X's comment, but you didn't LIKE mine? " kinda thing.
