Pp ...  I'm assuming the 'error' is intentional  giving article a sub-text.

I used to have a soldier neigbhour, who lived across the road and he hung the Union Flat, NOT the Union Jack, from this garage door.

I pointed out it was back to front. He said it wasn't as it was hanging down. I told him there was still a right and wrong way for it to hang, even when vertical.  He looked on his sleeve and realised I was right. He swapped it round.

I'm not going to get all political, and stir up Brexit issues once more, but surely nobody ( leave  or remain) can really think it's going to be plain sailing getting trade agreements?

Re the flag Dove  - perhaps it was intentional - if that's the right way for distress  image

Burgers for us tonight - have to use everything in the freezer by Sunday if I can. Might be burgers again tomorrow night  too!

    Nice buns....image

Stinker of a day here after the dry start. Forecast was right.  Hope it improves for my week off next week. No chance of that grass seed germinating. Far too cold. It's probably rotted by now anyway. I'll  have to redo it. image

Pooter's dreadfully slow - why does that happen every time  they' update' it - with loads of c**p I don't need or want.  Ludicrous.

Both our laptops were incredibly slow about half an hour ago ... fine now.

Fairy ... re flag ... that was my thought too.

The buns are fab ... I will never buy burger buns again image  But we may well be having them tomorrow too, but I think with sausages and onions, as I've used all the minced beef.

Daughter made some brioche buns at Christmas. They were a little flat, but I think she made too much dough, and didn't really have the room or the time to let them prove etc. They still tasted good  image

I've had to succumb and put the heating on. It's not been above fifteen today, and there's wind and heavy rain so it's a few degrees less in real terms. House feels very cold as it's not really warmed up since the weekend. image

Fairy, I hope the wind from the hurricane crossing the Atlantic will eventually blow the rain clouds away and that you get some good weather for up north.

It was sunny first thing today then the wind and rain started. Glad the roof was repaired last weekimage

    Evening all.

Just home from the coal face. Just in time to miss the start of the heavy rain.

Watching Corry, having a bit of din dins then heading for a shower.

Certainly NOT watching Love you Garden. I watched it last week and it was so cringe inducing. All that carefully choreographed " spontaneous" antics was enough to make me switch off.
