Liri - I had to go to the hospital bevause of the pain in my face, and the doctor there was very dismissive. I saw my health visitor shortly after because older fairylet was about to start school and was due her jags. She was horrified that I'd not been admitted and put on a drip. A man ( around my age) had just died from them. She also warned me that any time I got a cold or infection for the following six months, it would be unpleasant. She was right
You can feel the change in the air as soon as August comes here BL, but I'm like Joyce - I embrace, it as we usually get better ( as in - drier and sunnier) weather then than in the main part of summer
Glad you're ok Hosta - but any nonsense and Dove will kick your a*se
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

The phone went at 9.10 and woke me up.

The ear isn't sore now but if it gets bad, I promise I'll go see the Doc. Honest.
Raining here again.

... sometimes taking a decongestant like Sudafed can help with earache if it's just starting and not too infected.

The sun has appeared and it's a beautiful autumn day
Two hours work done, cutting back and weeding, so time for a rest and a coffee.
The sun is making an appearance here so I'll finish this cuppa and head outdoors.
Autumn, Joyce?
It's only the 30th August, still summer!
Busy- lots of the shrubs have their autumn colour up here.
Summer by-passed us
We do usually have good autumn weather though so I'm now embracing autumn
I have those places Dove.
I lost a lot of my eyelashes too.

That brings to mind a lovely image. Entertaining. Ears are not to be messed with.
Cold and grey and breezy here and it looks like it ought to be tipping down but it isn't, of course.
Have a good one, whatever your weather.
