Morning all/afties Pat. Sorry you both have a lurgy now. Take it easy and look after yourselves. x

Not been on here much and can't catch up so I won't try. Hope the results tomorrow are fine for chicklet - I'm sure they will be  image

Clari - think we'reall getting deja vu. You're clearly being taken advantage of again. The willing horse etc. I sometimes think this country is retreating to Victorian standards, especially after seeing Hosta's post too. If staff aren't appreciated, they become so demoralised. The difficulty of finding other jobs makes it even worse for a lot  of people. How have we arrived at this in 21st century Britain?

Cool here again but it's dry for now. Ended up a nice day yesterday - we missed almost all the showers.Think I'll have to reseed all the patches of grass I did two or three weeks ago. Not warm enough for it to germinate  image

Yet another chancer phoning yesterday with a huge order - show is on Sunday. 'Didn't you get my email of early last week?' No - because you didn't send one, you l**ing  **$@*  image

Better go - will catch you all properly later. Have a good day - if possible...

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning everyone - Hi Pat!

Pat, I suppose every cloud has a silver lining... let's hope your visitor stays away for a while longer.  And that you and your hubby soon feel a lot better.

Fairy, hope you're feeling better now too.  Don't work too hard!

Clari, fingers crossed something really good turns up for the next job - and that your lurgy departs soon.

Lurgies in August should be banned...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Morning all.

Late on parade after a hideous night in bed. Woke up throughout the night drenched in sweat, ( sorry, not a great imageimageimage) Duvet / pillow turning all night long. The only decent chunk of sleep I had was after I switched off the alarm clock at 7.30.

Chicky, it's the same every summer when the tourists arrive. Deliver orders go from about 5 crates per customer up to about 10 - 15 crates. More customers in store , no more staff. Staff with kids needing holiday time off because their kids are off school etc etc. It'll calm down again at the end of September to something more normal.

I'm in at 2 today for more driving but I've been told I'll have the shortest route.

Grey and windy here with yet more rain forecast to arrive later.

Pat, you two take it easy now.

Clari, 6 months sounds like a good plan.

    Right, I need some breakfast.

    Devon.

Yes Hosta ... isn't that the way you fly it as a sign of distress image

Sorry to hear you had such a rotten night ... sounds like the ones I used to have when my thyroid problems accentuated 'the change' symptoms.  Don't overdo it this morning if you're working this afternoon ((hugs))

Washing's on the line and I've made the brioche dough and it's having its first rise ... now we're off on a walk around the Donkey Track ... see you in a bit ......

Oh Hosta! One of my pet hates!!!!

I have been known to go to peoples' doors and point out their stupidity. image Lucky I haven't been kneecapped!

Near where my dad worked years ago there was a bridge across the Lagan and on it the words " God Save are Queen! I mean really!!!!
