According to one site, a child is sold into sex slavery every 30 seconds.   That's on top of the women trafficked for sex.    Why does any man still think sex workers of any age or sex do it as a career option?

Houston has had more rain in the last day or so than we've had all year.  It must be devastating.  I just hope they manage it better than good old GW and his cohorts handled New Orleans and Katrina.

Recorded both the Bake Off (to avoid the ads) and the Psycho to watch later on my own.  Really enjoyed the Bake Off.  Have always liked and had great respect for Prue Leith who has decades of first class cooking credentials and have always liked Sandy Toksvig.   Noel was better than I thought he'd be and the challenges were interesting tho, like one of the contestants I have to wonder why anyone would bake mini rolls.

Hope the people of Houston keep safe - there's bad weather and then there's what's going on there. Beyond imagining image
