I decided to watch Bake Off in preference to the psychopath programme... I'd rather imagine myself as a baker than wonder if I might have psychopathic tendencies...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Just seen Bake Off. Thought it was very similar to the old one, they've kept the same format. Enjoyed it. And the ads mean I can have a break to make a drink and go to the loo.
Such a pretty bench, Liri.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I just can't imagine 40 inch of rain in 3 days. It stopped raining and they made a dash to the supermarket, then it started raining again, and the way back was flooded and they had to wade. Three of them, a 12 week old lab, a feral cat and four new kittens they rescued, all holed up in a one bedroom flat.
I saw the end of bake off. I liked the look of the watermelon.
Thank you. Don't know what happened to the end of my sentence in my post on the previous page - perhaps it remained in my head . Meant to say we decided not to paint the sunflowers yellow - bit too loud for our liking.

Loved the Bake Off. I'm slightly in love with Noel Fielding though anyway....
I recorded and then fast forwarded the ads BL
Those showstopper cakes were superb.
Fidget - sounds hideous. Hope everyone is ok.
That looks Dove. I like a cone although I rarely have ice cream. I know what you mean about cream Obs. We don't have desserts very often - in fact never - but if we have a pie or a birthday cake, that's when we have some cream. Younger daughter likes a plain chocolate cake (without any icing - just dry ) so I managed to persuade her it needed some cream or something in the middle. It wasn't really necessary to have cream poured over it though...
Unless we, as a society, stop burying our heads in the sand, investigate properly, and produce proper penalties, people trafficking is going to be one of the biggest tragedies of the modern world.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Evening all.
Loving the bench, Liri - a garden should always have a seat amongst the greenery - gorgeous.
Anyone watching Bake Off? Wonder if Mary Berry is?? Or, for something a bit different - Horizon: What Makes A Psychopath?
Swiss Army Man? I'm imagining hands which double as knives, bottle openers etc??
The flooding sounds awful - can't imagine how frightening that must be.
FB, just watching live feeds from Houston.....utterly devastating ......prayers for all

I'm watching Bake Off on "plus 1" so we've just had the little chocolate/mint mini rolls.

Fidget - that's awful, yet wonderful to think they are protecting those animals.
Bake Off was good but thought they would be brave and change the format slightly. That BLT - wow!
Will probably iplayer the Psychopath prog, but not just before bed.
Decaff and duvet time... night all.
