    Where did you find them?

One of the leaf beetles. If they're on a specific plant that might help with ID.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Today I found one on a lily (a tree type one), but I didn’t notice any leaf damage where the bug was sitting. The beetle I mean 😊

@Big Blue Sky. That will help people who know what they're talking about😊

Thank you for the link @wild edges , I wonder if it’s a mustard beetle.
The only tree nearby is an oak tree ant there are a couple of shrubs. And also no brassicas growing in our garden. But it looks like a mustard beetle and they seem to be quite wide spread. We definitely have lily beetles - those I know.

Sycamore gall mite galls. You'd need a microscope to see the actual insect but the galls they create are easy enough to identify. I don't know how the tree feels about these but they look itchy. :#

I never mention the spider baby clusters I find in the polytunnel @wild edges

I heard shrieking coming from Possum yesterday and assumed she was being entertained by a playful Cosmos.  No such thing.  She was standing on the toilet seat because there was a spider - all of 1.5cms long and wide including legs - on the bathroom floor.  I removed it for her.   Not one I've seen before so I hope it's happy outside.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I can't resist gently poking a net of spiderlings. I love to watch them scatter and bunch up again
