My acer aphids have started to go through their final moults to become adults. I love how they just shed their old skin and then leave it standing there as they walk off.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
Please please can you help me to identify this bug. I have never seen them before in my garden but this season there have already been three of them there. They are small, no bigger than 1cm and shiny.
