Nanny: a bit late for it now but my veins aren't the best to find. The nurse told me to drink as much water as I possibly could the day before the test and especially a few hours before. Dehydration she said always made her job worse.
It seems to work for me; though I sometimes think it's the high blood pressure from being bursting to pee having sat in the waiting room so long never daring to leave in case you miss your slot!
Poor OH is now REALLY suffering with the sniffles; he pulled a muscle in his back sneezing! Poor devil had to have me help him get dressed he can barely bend at all. Good job his new fancy car practically drives itself.
He's homemade mango sorbet (new recipe; hope iys okay!) in the freezer to soothe his throat and I'll nip out and get some rum after work to soothe his back.
I'd best get to work before the rain starts. My aching bits are aching so they seem to know it's not going to be a great day.
Joyce the sun never made it here yesterday and now it's pouring ? Disappointing for wee ones who are desperate to play in the garden
Pat I love jonquils and recall buying them for their lovely perfume giving a touch of spring.
Chicky deer are so lovely but can be such a menace!
Clari, sounds like you may have a few nights of hard training to get pooch off the bed!
Dove my coffee just arrived, the family still in Moscow time so up early, we will work on it today,
had a proper walk around the garden last night and lost heart a bit whilst away last week there was no one to tie in, although staked the tops of the delphiniums broke and I dont think I will get time to dead head enough. All the work of the spring and it just looks such a mess now

Nanny hope you make it along the road for 9 and all goes well

Oh Hosta - your post wasn't there earlier. The sleep thing is a right pain.
I agree with you about Bambi. Venison casserole is very good

HAs anyone seen doc? Is he away and I've missed him saying?
I'd better go and get organised too. I have a nice short commute so at least I don't have to get up at stupid o'clock for work!
Have a good day everyone - or as good as possible....
