What hair already pulled! Glazing bars were in a sealed bag, Hubby just opened it up, only enough glazing bars for THREE windows! Rang company, its press one for this etc etc, so I press for Customer Service, because thats what it tells me on-line I need to speak to, phone rings, reocrded message, "I am sorry our customer service office is now closed blah blah blah, so sent them an e-mail, Hubby was hoping to finnish it today, - whilst hair ripping, hes also discovered new windows havent been sealed underneath.
pp, I always buy them too big. I'm an 8 - 9 in a shoe , but buy size 11 in those boot socks. I also buy size 12 wellies. It makes it a lot easier getting them on and off when wearing thick socks and those Bama jobs.
Right, that's almost a ton of sand put into bags and worked round the pipes.
I was showing Hubby where the ground was giving way........
"Erm........... that might have been me.
I put the barrow too close to the edge and when I lifted it up , the ground, erm, sort of , erm gave way..... a bit. "
Note to self: waders only keep you dry if you don't lean forward and let the water down the front of them.
Flollopped on the sofa ......... I've baked a Plum and Yoghurt Cake, a batch of sausage rolls, a Sausage and Egg pie and six steak and veg pasties ... and done all the washing up and clearing away and swept the floor. I deserve a medal ........ ever since I started baking the rain stopped and the sun came down and it's really warm ... the garden is steaming ... and so am I
