Hi Joyce. It did look very neat and well planned.

lilyp, hope you enjoy nanny duties And that your eyes continue to improve,

Aunty Rach, I can't begin to guess how you can count butterflies. They flit in and out so quickly I'd be doubling up.

Yvie, take it easy. good luck with the computer search. I leave all that technical stuff to Hubby.

    Good morning all image

OH has been at work over an hour, the washing is in the machine and I'm writing a shopping list ... I'll dash down to W'rose early and come back to do a quick tidy, water any needy plants, prep supper and get myself ready to sit on the sofa in front of Wimbledon .......

Son is busy at Latitude ... seems the weather is being kind to them, thank goodness image

Wonky phoned last night ... she has new wrist splints for her carpel tunnel and if I understood her correctly she has a chit so that she can book herself in for steroid injections if needed.

Sorry to hear about Wonky Dove. Hope the splints help.

Love Agatha Christie Lily P, one of my guilty pleasures, I can watch them over and over again.  Joan Hickson is my favourite Miss Marple and David Suchet is a perfect Hercule Poirot.  Do you know which story they are filming?

Haven't seen many butterflies about this year Aunty Rach even though it's supposed to have been a good year for them.

It is always exciting when your village or town has filming going in. We have had Dr Who and Holby in the area this year.

I often choose plants with bees in mind, I must look at what butterflies prefer...

    Morning all.

A troubled night in bed last night. Asleep /awake all night long.

Finally at 3am when I woke , I was pain free but it didn't produce any restful sleep.

Yvie, I couldn't agree more about Joan Hickson and David Suchet.

Pat, the founders of Bournville will be turning in their graves since the takeover by Kraft of Cadbury. I won't even buy Cadbury any more.image

A lazy day with Hubby, pottering in the garden. He's only "up country" for 2 days next week, so he'll be home before I get back from the coal face on Tuesday evening. image

Have a good weekend one and all.

I'm fairly local to Bournville and Secondborn went to the Art College, it really upset me when Kraft bought out Cadbury seemed such a betrayal of the staff. It was such an iconic British brand.

I love those Joan Hickson Miss Marples image. Although Geraldine McEwan was fine, Joan Hickson was the best. I think Ordeal by Innocence is going to be one of the Christmas Specials the BBC have been doing.

LP - you're lucky you didn't get one from a couple of year's ago - And Then There Were None. We'd all have been camped out in your garden to watch the filming of that image

I think the geese have moved on.

Mum had the 3 babies right up at the top of the garden yesterday when I was working outside the tunnel. She was making a bit of a noise then they just all took off and headed West.

The old romantic in my says she'd come up to say goodbye.
