Hi folks,  Been in the garden all day.  Have cut and edged lawns, clipped ivy hedge and 3 box cones.  Looks much better now.

Hosta, when I asked if I'd missed anything I meant on the forum.  Don't normally comment on politics but have to say the boy did good.  The arrogant Mrs May was shown to be anything but strong and stable and I for one would rather be in a political mess than have a Tory majority.  I'm labour to the core and proud of it.

Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly Amberspy.  Hope you feel better soon.

Clarington, why isn't your GFG in the attic like everyone else's?

We use it all the time! I especially enjoy taking it outside to grill fish on as the kitchen hasn't an extractor (or doors) so it keeps the house from getting that decidely less than fresh smell.

I also use my ice cream maker weekly throughout the summer.

Can I suggest a  large pair of rubber gloves and a bottle of kitchen cleaner for you OH Clari?

It is perfectly possible to do a full English/Scottish/Irish breakfast without asking an unholy mess of everything.  Not so easy with croissants and baguettes as the crumbs get everywhere and so does the jam!

He can use three saucepans making beans on toast. I think it's a magic trick!

Fortunately the dishwasher (and my stomach) are taking most of the strain and he's now happily pressure washing the driveway. I'm not even going to look at what colour the side of my car is turning!

Mine's up there behind the bread maker. I never thought of using it for fish. Might be worth a try.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

I'll confess the bread maker doesn't get as much use as I'd like! I've not yet managed to get the right mix for gluten free loafs.
