I think someone had a pre prepared script. It must have been somewhat of a shock  to find the monkey in the red rosette didn't get in.

The rain has bettered a load of stuff down. Every year I think I have it sorted. Every year I go out with more canes and string.

aww Lily! I do enjoy watching the birds in the garden; they always seem to have so much more charectors than the likes of the pigeons.

I made the mistake of going into the kitchen after he made (a very nice and insanely unhealthy) breakfast.

    Microwave; covered in beans

    George Foreman; covered in sausage

Hob; I think it's mushroom juice. Can you even get mushroom juice?

Oven; dare not look inside. But surely you can't make that much mess with hash browns

Dishwasher: apparently an egg rolled off the counter into the (clean) dishwasher. It's splatter zone has seen the dishwasher simply shut and restarted

BBQ: Apparently the George Foreman and oven and job were simply not enough things to cook on so he's used the BBQ as well. I will get around cleaning this by ignoring it.

Still; it was a good breakfast.

    But I think I'll make supper ;)

Today is described as "thick cloud" on the weather app - how depressing! I did notice some cheeky sun icons for next weekend though - woohoo!

Off to my Sister's now as the word cake was mentioned...

Oh - that breakfast looks top notch. I think a coooked brekky makes the most mess of any meal known to Man.

I  always tried to make as much mess as possible, when I was learning to cook, so that I would be told to give up.

Didn't work though, but now I love cooking.

Don't do washing up though, always used to break things [ not on purpose though ? ]

How can you lie there and think of England

Joyce it is dry at the moment but I can see it blowing up. It's very windy.

Clari my breakfast treat this morning was a croissant!

we had a very unwelcome visitor this morning, a grey squirrel in the courtyard on the table bold as brass

there was a government led cull here abiut 5 years ago, stopped because of lack of funds  it was successful in that reds have been seen  I hate to think what is going to happen now .   I am off to seek advice from the gamekeeper

Just picked my first 5 stems of sweet peas. The perfume is amazing?

Clarington, why isn't your GFG in the attic like everyone else's?

    In London. Keen but lazy.
