I've PM'd you too Topbird. We'll be back in Norfolk in July, after baptism of son's baby, near Auxerre.
We went shopping this morning, had lunch out, then I gardened the rest of the afternoon. Nice day, not too hot, but warm enough to eat our first bowls of garden raspberries outside under the pergola.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Apparently lots of problems, but we did not notice any.
Maybe it was because we are only 20 minutes away and were parked up eating breakfast by 0830.
Not been able to read back, so hope you are all well.
Not too much storm damage, I hope.
Lost an old Apple tree here, not very productive, but beautiful tree. Many perennials are no longer vertical, but I think it could have been a lo worse.
Grey wagtails have fledged, but are on the ground, not well hidden, so I have great fear about a bad outcome. I was out trying to scare off cats, until it got dark.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
You've all had me laughing today. Sorry about the garden damage though. It does sound as if you can all manage to stay positive even with the various things going wrong.
We still have overcast cold days, so no gardening for me. I'm glad we are able to keep the house warm. It's interesting to hear that some of you have getting people to come and fix things. We have the same problem here. Because we are 25 km from town, they are all very busy. The electrician that Hubby has spoken to several times about our power tripping off when we turn on too many things at once, hasn't appeared. The type of things I have to be aware of are not to turn the washing machine on until I've boiled the jug for tea and made toast. That particular irritation is that with our shorter days and lack of sunlight the washing needs to be out longer.

Get out and vote folks. Vote for whoever you like, just vote.
