Hi everyone. Cold and overcast here today. It actually feels as though it might rain, but probably not. The weather man was talking about a "polar low" moving up towards Australia in the next day or so. I can believe it from the breezes out there today. image

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning all.

Feeling rather sluggish this morning for some reason. I can't even blame not wanting to go to work (although there is some apprehension about what will break down on me this week after Fridays disaster).

I've never heard of a polar low Pat; but it doesn't sound warm and toasty.

Yesterday I tried to post about clearing the area around the space allocated for the garage (I don't think the post worked). Since with the new car all funds will have evaporated the garage won't be appearing for a good few years so I set about trying to tidy the area up. When the green wheelie bin is emptied I'll be able to get it finished.

Efforts to drop hints about vegetable beds aren't working so far. But his family (who are avid gardeners) are coming up soon so I may get his father involved in planning.

Clari, I hope we don't hear about a polar low very often, either! It's cold in the house except in the living room where I'm ensconced.image

    Morning everyone.

Overcast here today and much cooler.  Rufus was standing on my chest this morning. he's a Maine Coon and rather large but a lovely soul.  He just wanted his tummy tickled (very important) and then they descended for breakfast and have since gone back to bed.  I'm just about to make a cup of tea to clear my sniffles with honey.  Pleased to hear about your mum PD and hi to Dove, Clari, Pat, LP, Liri, Chicky DD and all.n Hibernating today, have some nice rolls for sandwiches and doing some housework. Check in on you all later x

Another hot night of no sleep, so not up early, was already 19d at 7.30, muggy, looks like rain, listen to 2 forcasts last night one after the other, first one, possibility of the "odd" shower, next one, practically a 4 day deluge. Get well all!

    Morning all.

Our forecast was a 4 day deluge with hale and thunder and strong winds from yesterday, not a drop yet.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Hi all.

Cold and wet here, we could certainly do with the rain.

Have woken up with a strange desire to go shopping, unheard of for me and I have absolutely no idea what it is I want to go shopping for.

    Have a good day.
