That garden for a couple retiring to France had me sniggering scornfully. No way. The trousers were awful too. Don't understand why Monty wasn't there himself as he's previously declared it to be his favourite RHS show in one of his favourite places and handy for home too.
Cool again here thanks to the wind but warm in shelter. Tackling the new herb bed this pm while OH marks out the placement for the polytunnel.
Wonky - hope the tingling stops soon.
PDoc - glad you're home in one piece but maybe time to find another way to feel useful that doesn't worry the boss to bits. Maybe the shards in your bum are karma?

Big marketing opportunity Obelixx...can't see that garden working too well up here either
It's like anything though - a bit of fantasy to sell products, whatever those might be. I'd like to think retailers are honest with potential customers, especially when it comes to plants, but I doubt it .....
Lovely pix BM. Glad you had a nice day out. I can't cope with these things at all, so it's always quite nice to see photos. Did you make any new purchases? I liked those recliner thingies, but I'd never use one !
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Lovely photos and lots of good chat but it's Wonky I would like to read this
please check your posture. This sounds as if it's coming from your neck, especially if it's bilateral
your new job doubtless needs you to look down a lot and so you are using and stretching different muscles My wonderful dil tells me off for doing the same thing for more than 20 mins at a time one of the exercises she gave me was to use my hands like windscreen wipers. I find it helps.

Just been out on slug patrol. How do they know which are the recently-planted items? They always seem to make a beeline (molluscline??) for them.
they need moisture to move so no problems here

Loved the pics BM. I like to go to the autumn show, but I think I will try the Spring show too next year. Monty is there today I believe.

A A Milne
SO, all has become clear.
OH "shall we go for a walk?"
ME "yes that would be nice"
OH "can I bring a friend?"
ME "yes"
Turns out friend was the dog of a friend. She has wanted us to get a dog for ages and now the pressure is being ramped up. Cheeky minx.
