Spent the early evening in summerhouse, got quite cold, but there was so much bird activity to watch we just stayed.

As a result of this dinner is just finished, very late for us.

Got to catch up on some football now, and then hopefully another sunny gardening day tomorrow.

    Sleep well.

Autumn colours starting to show. Pinoaks on the driveway and Poplars on the river. The house is a bit cool today and no sunlight to warm things up (photos at 10.30 am). I'm not sure whether to be pleased with the rain or complain because I was planning some more gardening today. image

    Morning all.

Another glorious day here but I'm heading off to the coal face. Driving today so hopefully I'll get to see the sea at some point.

Hubby is weeding the Hosta tunnel. I can't believe how much has grown since I put the sprinker on in there on Wednesday morning.

I wish I was at home gardening but hey ho.

Morning Hosta - shame you have to work. I've just taken daughter and done washing etc. At least I had a better sleep last night - turning into you  image

Afties Pat if you're around. We're never happy with the weather are we? image

There was a nice sunrise, and it's chilly, but it's to turn wet later so I should get summat done this morning. Grass is looking good after the feed last week. Need the rain for the front but at least I have a hose now to do it, although it's something I dislike using for grass living here - shouldn't need it!

Better sort out the photies from yesterday's walk. It turned out to be a great day.

     Another cuppa first though...

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Good morning Fairy hosta and Pat image

sounds like everyone had loverlee days yesterday.  It was so hot yesterday, I was aching so much from Friday that I didn't do any planting just buying and cleaned up the patio.

i think I have enough for the "prairie bed" now, just need to arrange them!  Think I need punk doc help!

hope wonkys party was good, wonder if they are still going!

waiting for pain killers to kick in with first cup of tea!

its gonna be another roasting day today image
