    Morning all.

I haven't yet worked out what to do with my compost rhubarb; empty the bin and let the rhubarb grow? Cut the rhubarb as it grows and let the compost stay in its current position? Leave the rhubarb and sacrifice it to the compost ants?

Yesterday I scrubbed the floors to get rid of the plaster debris. NO amount if modern gadgets will beat elbow grease and a good wooden scrubbing brush! I'm hoping his lordship will crack on with the painting today. He won't let anyone else do it as he likes to be in control so it's all slow progressive. The pantry is painted though so I can't wait for shelves in there so I can start putting the kitchen back together. All my friends are getting excited by impending babies / holidays and all I need to please me is a pantry! His lordship certainly chose the right lass for him.

BUT we SHOULD be getting electricity back on Monday!

I'm hoping the warm weather today will kill my latest cold and hopefully all cold germs!

Lots of time to potter around the garden today.

    Morning all.

    B's Mum - I.

I've been looking at the Stachys Hummelo that Chris was putting in the ribbon planting. It would look good in your new bed.

Pat, you must be really enjoying the cooler weather for gardening  and seem to making the most of it.

    Morning all.

OH's choir's concert went well last night, standing ovation. My sandwiches were nearly all eaten, some left for me tonight when OH is singing again in another town.

Was really warm yesterday, in the early 20s, looks like another warm day today. I forgot to shut the GH door and windows when we got back last night but there wasn't a frost.

Forgot to record GW last night and the Evelyn Waugh thing about a school.image

That's better. I know it's the wrong time of year to cut them back, but hey ho.
