Glad the scan was clear for you Hosta although I suppose you still can't be sure what caused the dreadful pain in the first place?
What a kind thought of HRH's dog grooming place Pat and I bet they'll be thrilled with such a pretty window display.
BL, flat out couple of days for you - bring some warm clothes with you though.
It's just been pouring for the first time in ages, my fault as I watered everything thoroughly on Saturday evening and washed the car yesterday afternoon. Not complaining, it's been dry for such a long time here but I'm worried about the forecast frost for the next 2 or 3 nights. Last one we had damaged the new growth on the fuschias, both supposedly hardy but I can't cover them to protect them as we're off to Cornwall tomorrow. I can't really expect my house/cat sitter to deal with gardening too although I've asked her to water my tomato plants on the kitchen window sill.
I'm watching L of D avidly and absolutely loving it. I didn't see the first ones and in some ways it makes it even more amazing. I was so shocked at the end of the first episode I actually gasped out loud - cats were terrified.
Hosta ((hugs)) my ex had similar experience - a couple of excruciating crippling episodes, nothing showed up on scans and nothing more for 30+ years - the medics reckoned he'd passed a couple of small stones/pieces of 'grit'. He was told to keep his fluid intake up and that was it.
We've had steady drizzle for the past hour ... son says it's been raining on the Suffolk coast all day. Wonky starts her new job tomorrow ... just in time for the cold snap!
Pat Cat Stevens is now Yusuf Islam ... big fans here
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I'd thoroughly recommend going back and watching L of D from the very beginning. You'll find it easier to make sense of lots of it
- and the critical 'event' in the first series leading to the missing body (which was referred to later last night ) is a real shocker when it happens!
We've had a couple of little flurries of snow showers here, but I think it's heading east so we should miss it. Darn diddly darn chilly though.
Bit frustrating for you Hosta. Hope you don't have too many more incidents.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Will it be cold next week? It's full sun here, early 20s next week. But we have the car so I don't need to travel light and I have some clothes at the cottage. No pyjamas, long nightie! Gas heating in the cottage, much more efficient than here.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

We've got cracks in the soil here. Unheard of . If the rain holds off until the weekend, I should have all my re-shuffling finished.

I'm not sure my nerves could stand it from the very start. I thought I'd only missed one series. Is this the 4th?

Fourth Hosta - yes. It's our main topic at work when it's on. We've all watched it over and over again!

Done the long border, knackered and have a rash on my arm from the goosegrass. Kept thinking of my friend though.
Have just eaten Spag Bol sitting outside, come in as it's getting cool and gloomy. Rain is forecast for tomorrow. Garden needs it.
BL ((hugs))
Bring your winceyette pyjamas and thermal vests when you pack for Norfolk
