    Good morning all.

Yes Daisy, NZ looks as though they'll be getting a blast of rotten cyclone. I actually have a painting friend from Melbourne visiting NZ at the moment, but don't know where she is exactly. Fingers crossed she's on the South Island which looks to have a slightly better prediction. She is from the Dunedin area and is visiting family, I think.  I've sent her an email, but I'm not sure if she has access to her email while away.

Weve had a cool sunny day here with little wind, but I haven't done much outside. We did go for a drive around our external fence line to make sure there weren't any trees over fences, etc. after last week's strong winds. I found a new Wombat excavation under one fence, but it had given up before it was finished. Hopefully, it will not try to continue tonight.image Destructive little so and so's.

I put some photos on the camera thread the other day of some interesting fungus In case anyone is curious.image

LP - you will love Threave.  Lots to see in the different areas. I hope the rhodos and azaleas along from the pond are in flower......there are some early ones.

For years we always visited spring, summer and autumn.  This wont be your last visit.

    Morning all! image afternoon Pat

Thank you for sharing my good news everyone! Such a lovely day yesterday to have three positive things to cheer!

Hello BusyL, hope your internet is behaving better today!

Thank you GWRS and Dyers End, nice to see you! image

I'm sure a lot of people will be having family weekends ahead, with shopping, cleaning and cooking to be done beforehand! We have a second reason to celebrate in the womble household as its Papa wombles 70th birthday on Easter Sunday! Doing roast but haven't decided which yet! image

Typically I've woken with a cold today but its not going to stop me, postponed the one gardening job I had for today, they don't want my cold either! At least it will give me a chance to get some housework and shopping done!

Catch up with you all for another coffee in a bit! image

    Morning all.

I slept badly, woke up feeling too hot, skin felt sore. Then woke up coughing which woke OH up. Coughing and bunged up nose this morning. Haven't felt right the last few days, thought it was pollen allergy, been taking Boots 1 a day allergy tablets. But I don't feel ill now, not like it was in January and Feb.

SM this morning then gardening. Picking up new car tomorrow image
