Hot soak in the bath would be ideal for you ??....

OH has suggested a massage ... so that when I wake up tomorrow I don't spend the first hour saying 'ooooh .... ahhhhhh .... ooomph ..... '  Romantic soul isn't he? image

Ohhh I wouldn't say no to one of those ???

baths for us every time. Showers are perfectly functional but not , to my mind, relaxing.

Good hot shower for me most days but, after a long, cold and dirty day in the garden it has to be a bath with bubbles and a glass of fizz too.

Have only had an afternoon out there today and - fanfares and rum rolls - I have planted my first treasures in a proper bed - hydrangea "Prim White, eunonymus Silver Queen, creamy variegated ivies, wild garlic, lily of the valley, violets, a pieris and one whole hosta but split into 4 chunks so 2 in the ground and 2 in pots for later on.   More hostas, some acers and some azaleas tomorrow.

Feeling stiff so a hot shower is called for to ease those bruised ribs.

Hope you get the mower sorted H.  We ended up taking the collectors off our first one as the grass was always so lush and juicy it clogged the tubes.  This model doesn't collect at all so OH has to rake it up and dump it all in the bins.  He may well want one with a collector next time.

Glad you're feeling better about your garden this year Dove.

    Good to see you PDoc.

See previous post H.   Once I get the rest of the shrubs in I can do the rest of the hostas.

Try a handful of Epsom's salts in the bath, truly helps

Evening all,  a busy day looking after Mabel and tomorrow evening I'm off for 3 days of Jonah duty.  Come Sunday I'm off to sunny cornwall for a few days to build sandcastles with Merri and Mabelimage  Not much time for gardening for a week or so as tomorrow will probably be spent sorting out laundry etc.

I should be able to walk much further on holiday this year as the arthritis has improved so much since losing weight, I'm up to 3.5 stones now and thinking of slowing down (don't want to get a scraggy neck).

Glad to hear from you Clari/P'doc.

Wow Yvie! That's fantastic weight loss! Congratulations! image I'm sure sandcastle building counts as exercise and ice cream is compulsory! Hope you have a lovely time!

Yvie - that's brilliant!  well done!

As Wonky will confirm, I once lost a great deal of weight so I know what it takes ...

I have put some of it back ... as you say, scraggy necks are not a good look, and I prefer my cushions plumped up, not saggy image
