I got a thrill seeing a little elm tree covered in primrose-coloured bracts from the train this morning.  More little things...  image

Haul from Harrogate show includes seeds, gloves, acidanthera bulbs and a book for the grandchildren - but only 3 plants; a prostrate rosemary, a pot of Matucana sweet peas (home sown ones a bit patchy) and a Soldanella montana, to add to my collection.  image

I think this fellow is following me around.  I first photographed him at Chelsea last year, then at the Tatton Park show, and now today, there he is again...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Maybe he is following you round Liri - after all, he's inconspicuous enough to blend in to the background so you wouldn't really noticeimage

One more day at the coalface, then looking forward to the weekendimage  l like these 4 day weeks imageimage.  Got one next week too - as this time next Friday I'll be setting off for my Keukenhof weekendimage. Obsessing over Amsterdam long range weather fcasts alreadyimage

Hello Chicky. I'm amazed that it's that time already. Been buzzing around and forgot how late it was.

I took some more autumn photos today. Lovely colours in all directions

    Have a good day.

He looks familiar Liri ....oh no, it's ok - I left him a few years ago....image

Does anyone else here think that a certain 'new' poster asking about herbs (constantly)  is someone who's been here before?  Just my thoughts....image

Damp and windy here. Those two fat pigeons are out there - just waiting....they're always waiting.... looking and waiting.....image

    Friday - hurrah!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Maybe a bit of all, Hosta. Once you start moving let's hope it will unstiffen and ease up.

Sounds like a combination of stuff to me too Hosta ... take some painkillers with you to Boheme - I know you don't like taking such stuff but a couple of Solpadeine in your pocket just in case you 'get stuck' might be a good idea.  And enjoy ... a lovely treat!!! image
