Well done DD. I gave up running when I went past a 34 DD. Too much danger of knocking myself out.
Hosta , I would love to have bees, but since hubby was diagnosed as prediabetic and is supposed to be on low carb diet, I fear the temptation to have honey slathered all over everything would be too great.
Clari, well done. I totally admire your perseverance. There is no way I would put up with the winter you have just had. I like my home comforts too much. I missed the bit about the job? About time you had an employer who appreciates you ( and pays you on time/provides pension/ etc)
Today I have to get everything ready to be left on its own for a couple of days. I would like this area of the midlands to be dull, so I can just leave the greenhouse closed up and not worry about everything drying out. North Wales, I would like to be sunnyish or at least dry. Thank you weatherman.
It's terrible isn't it? Offers to go away for a break, but who looks after the baby seedlings and garden?
It's why most of our holidays are in the period October to February. Anyway, in summer I am quite happy in our own garden, provided it's not raining of course.
I haven't read back, but I'm guessing from the above posts we have some new forumites, so I'll welcome you all anyway and read back when I get time .
I've not go any seedlings big enough to worry about - not that I'm going anywhere anyway. One of the advantages of cooler conditions - I could go away for a week at this time of year quite easily - if anyone has any offers
I'm assuming Hosta has some bees? They'd be fat if I had them as I wouldn't be eating any of the honey
I read recently about some hives being vandalised up north and bees destroyed. Can't tell you how angry and upset it made me. What the **** is wrong with people?
Chilly and windy here - rain to come later which will help my blackening front grass. Don't think there's much grass in it really - a lot less than usual. A touch of grass seeding may be needed later on
Have a good day everyone - better shift and get ready for the mines ...
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi everyone. I've been out doing little jobs in the garden. Still cold wind out there, but I'm in now for the evening.

Morning all.
The usual " what can I do before hitting the coal face at 12?" routine today. Not a cloud in the sky , nor a breath of wind .
Cuppa whilst I'm procrastinating.
Morning all/afties Pat if you're there
