Back from daughter 2. Been gardening - there's a surprise! Planted the snowdrops and cyclamen I gave her and weeded the beds around the house. She's planted a hedge since I last saw her. Her OH cooked lunch, slow roast pork, asparagus and chips. He's been making the veg patch. Onions and cabbages growing already. Carrots sown and potatoes planted.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Back from my singing day. The York area was looking lovely and green; I tried not to look out of the window too often at the lovely gardening weather...
What rotten luck, Fairy... you could forget lots of things and make do, but not those knee braces.
Pat, I don't know whether Lismore in Aus is named after the island in Scotland, or after the town of Lismore in County Waterford, Ireland, where they make the whisky of the same name.
Having found that Beechgrove was on at 6.45 this morning, I must have programmed my internal alarm without intending to. My eyes popped open at 6.44, just time to run downstairs and put on the telly. Now I feel rather sleeeeepy...
Get well soon, Amberspy!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Made a spiced chicken thing with roast veg Obelixx. Takeaway might have been nice but I'd have had to go and get it
We're all gifted here...
To say I was scunnered is a slight understatement, Joyce....
Glad you had a productive day
Here's hoping next weekend is favourable. I'm trying to be positive! Lovely day, after the early frost, and perfect for a hill. I took a pic of the Ballachulish horseshoe on the way back. Something I'm always meaning to do. It was as good a moment as any.
I'm off to watch Vera as well. Line of Duty recording too.
Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Liri, as Ayr is in the same area as Lismore, my Scottish Darwin friend thinks both named after Scottish town and island. In Aus. pronounced "Lizzmore" evidently.
What a day Gorgeous weather. Nice long lie in. Did a good job at MILs front garden while she's I'll. Then rest of the day in my own. If I see another grass root I'll ... I'll .....oh just pull it out I suppose! Loads done. Exhausted but happy.
Hi Hosta. I thought I would pass on a joke Hubby found on the internet. There is a sketch of an elderly person sitting on the side of a bed looking bedraggled, and says "I really think that tossing and turning al night should be considered as exercise".

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Fairy - I dare say the air was a bit blue. How sickening .
Had a short jaunt with OH down the coast before lunch then some gardening, washing and ironing.
Evening all.

Hope everyone ok this evening... sounds like you've all been busy bees.
A cracking day today so did loads in the garden - front and back. Had a double hair-wash tonight to scrub the finger nails!
Only a 'half week' of work this week so that has taken the edge off the Sunday night blues.
No Sunday night blues for me as I don't work on Mondays.
I've got Monday morning blues as I've been awake since 3am,for no damned good reason.
Lovely photo fairy.
