The lads are back - the Skyrockets have been replaced by fastigiate yews ... possibly 'Standishii' - far more appropriate for that garden.

However, the white lilac, which is just bursting into bloom, is being felled and shredded ... some people have no soul image

I have to go to the GC now to get more module inserty thingies for my pricking out ......... can I pick up something for someone?

Just been Dove! Squeals of excitement as garden is watered as kitchen tap converter adapter thingy works a treat! Squeals of oops when it leaked jets across the kitchen and I didn't realise for a while so water feature in kitchen which dripped to basement a little but all cleared up now and will have a less vigorous  flow next time. image sighs of relief from the garden! image

    Wonky, you wanted rain.......image

The cold wind has brought me indoors.  Plugs planted and some primroses split and potted. More to be split another warmer day.

Dove and Wonky, you've both made me laugh. I hope the rest of your day works out for you. I'm going to sleep - can't stop yawning and it's not even midnight yet. This driving all over the place is not really my thing.

    catch you tomorrow.

  • Hello all,

Bad news I'm afraid the bank have said no, I think the poor lady who saw me last week was more upset than me. ?

So close but not quite, but I'm off to the next bank on the list with more insight than before on the sticking points.

I'll keep you all informed and hope you are well. Back to the spreadsheets for me now. image

((hugs)) for DD ... onwards and upwards!!!

I'm home - the Green Flag man changed the fuse and it worked.  He started filling in his paperwork and I thought I'd try to start it again ... it wouldn't Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!  He changed it again and it got me home and started again, but I'll have to book it in at a garage for next week ... my regular one recommended one with better diagnostics than they've got, but his recommendation can't fit me in until 2/3rd May!  So I've phoned a third ... they specialise in Renault and Citroen but aren't a dealership with associated £100 per hour charges.  I've got to phone them again tormorrow and they'll fit me in next week.  ..... in the meantime I shall stay at home and play in the garden.  I have a dentist appt tomorrow but will go on the bus.  Now I shall make a curry for supper and do some of that clothes flattening thing on a board image
