Hi Dove. Yes, had a good day. I even managed to get two loads of washing out and in, so it can rain tonight if it wants to. image

I might have to talk Hubby into making some bread rolls now that I've collected all those Nigella seeds.  Yummy!

Good morning everyone.  Hope you all have the wonderful weekend that is forecast and enjoy your gardens ?

I have over done it and ache all over so probably just a lot of looking for me ? And maybe a trip to local plant specialist nursery that is now open after the winter closure.  Just making a prairie bed so need a few grasses etc

Sure is Pat image like you hope to get some washing on the line too! Firstly though pain killers and watch GW from last night.  Sun is out and misty out there and virgin hot air balloon sailing by! Feels like summer has come early

Hi Beaus Mum image  What are you going to put in your prairie bed? Sounds exciting image

I've just stripped the spare bed and loaded the washing machine ... There's a chance son may be crashing here tomorrow en route between a gig in Birmingham tonight and a meeting in Norwich tomorrow afternoon ... I'd better get up now  and put some fresh linen on the spare bed ...

Hi Dove, I may have chance visitors too but not stripped yet image

i got a bit carried away with the "prairie bed" and it's gonna need a lot of plants to achieve the look I hope image did you see beechgrove this week? I'm gonna use the type of flowers that Chris beardshaw was planting beside their pond.  I have about a dozen that I brought last year in october but don't think it will touch the sides image

luckily OH brought new cr this week so wont complain if I have little spend up at the nursery image

the nursery is about two miles from us and next door to Roand Dahls house.  They have just opened again for new season and there was talk of a coffee shop image

    hope your son comes image

I watched the hot air balloons crossing the channel today. Very nice to see.

GW is back on our TV, but when Hubby checked to record it for (6am here) it was series one, which I've seen more times than I care to remember. image. I told him not to bother recording
