Good evening all. Hope everyone is doing ok.

There is something that I want to remember forever that happened today. My littlest niece came over and asked to water the seeds we had sown. I took her over to the tomato seedlings, on the window sill, and she gasped... "they've grown!" and gave the most beautiful smile. She gets it.

Very excited tonight as we are off to RHS Cardiff tomorrow AND it's not going to rain!

    Thanks Dove.

Big pressure for them to survive to fruiting now! We just need the right weather, no pests, no blight and remembering to water, feed and stake well... eek!

Evening all, just popping in to say hi before bed.  Got back this evening after 3 days of Jonah Nanna Duty.  Have tomorrow to visit mum and pack and then Sunday morning off to Cornwall until Thursday.  Looking forward to it but I'm very tired.  Have some plants to pot up tomorrow.  The garden is looking lovely at the moment and the Tulips are at their best.

    Off to bed now.

Hi Yvie. I assume you're well asleep now, but I've just come inside from hanging washing on the line.

Lovely that you have all that time with your family. image

I've had a productive day. Lovely sun, not too warm. I've collect loads of Nigella seed heads, pruned back some of the overgrown perenniels, transplanted some chives into pots for winter protection, etc.etc. lovely way to be out in the garden. The GH is getting a bit crowded, but there's still stuff to be sorted. Some can go out for winter. Mostly, there are tubs of strawberries which I hid in there so that the birds didn't beat me to the fruit. They can have a long sleep soon, outside.

Ive been watching bits and pieces of BBC World News whenever I came into the house, so I've seeN the report about Stockholm. I'm sure there'll be more to learn as time goes by, but it must be hard for a country which has been peaceful for so many years.

Anyway, best wishes for a good weather day for you all over there.
