Hi there everyone who is awake, grey and miserable here and rain is forecast for late afternoon but I'm not holding my breath.

I miss loads of posts while I'm writing one myself and managed to miss BL's rotten news, so very sad and hard to know what to say.

Hosta, hope the hospital can sort you out once and for all. Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all/afties Pat image

Lovely day here - shame I have to work  image

Thinking of you (and OH) BL.

Liri - you must be so proud. Did you wear one of these all day.....image

Think we'll miss the snow showers tonight though. Very little rain fallen here too - highly unusual for us. Not complaining - makes those bogs easier to cross at the weekends....image

Good luck Hosta. I'm sure it'll all be fine. Did you watch L of D?  image

Better go and get ready for the mines - Monday already. Have a good day all

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I took a photo this afternoon in front of the post office. Might make a few smiles for the out of season plants.

Fairy.... Line of Duty surely must be the most gripping, superbly written and acted pieces of TV I've seen in many years.

For those who haven't watched it, I'd recommend you catch it on iPlayer.

Fell asleep this morning at 5 and I have to get breakfast over by 9am before my 6 hour fast before the scan.

Tons to do, as ever at this time of year. Serioiusly worried about the frost they're forecasting. image

What type of tree is that Pat?

    Devon.

    Morning all.

Warm and sunny today, but cold and wet forecast for tomorrow. I hope there is a decent amount of rain.

I must weed the long border, said that before but there keep being other urgent things. Three days of rain from tomorrow then babysitting for son on Friday morning then off to Norfolk by the ferry on Saturday and Sunday, includes an overnight stop in Boulogne. Have to take the car this time, going to the Malvern Spring Show after Norfolk. Housesitter, hopefully, will look after my baby plants.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I received a lovely card from the girls at the pet shop where HRH used to get groomed today. Included was a packet of 'forget-me-not' (Myosotis alpestris) seeds. Rather a nice thought.

I'm thinking I might grow a nice pot of them and when they are flowering, I'll give it to the shop for them to put in their window. image

That's a lovely gesture from the pet shop girls, Pat.

Hope you get everything squeezed into the available time, BL... sounds as if you'll be busy!

Yes, Fairy.  I don't think my image will fade for a bit...
