Hello.   Lovely sunny day with some pale grey cotton wool floating about.  Been busy indoors so far but will be out there playing with my new hosta bed.

Saw the apostrophe item.   Grammar guerilla.  Loved it.

Also saw an item about a lack of vitamin D making us more oepn to catching colds and flu and, even outdoors, we can't manufacture it ourselves between September and April cos the angle of the sun is too low so supplements and oily fish are advised.   I trust all those who had that nasty bug are feeling better and wish a speed recovery to all new sufferers.

Possum is parked on the sofa googling for gyms and swimming pools.   Can't possubly walk the dogs, get some gardening exercise or even use my bum and thigh buster that we bought for when I had the slipped discs and couldn't do much exercise.

Yes for that cutting Dove.  Hope it takes.  I like that clem but she died on me in Belgium.  Too nesh.

Clari - apply anyway.  You may need one of them and you can always have the pleasure of saying NO!

In from the garden, tired and achy, but in a good way.

I think it is going to be dry all week, so I have no excuses for not catching up a bit.

Now for a bath and decide what to cook for dinner.

progress indeed clari, not so good about the job front.

Cutting grass again to day . The stuff I chucked out the back of the mower is now dry and the sensor keeps saying it's full. gggrrrr. I've given in and come in for a cuppa but hours more before it's finished.

Yes, I've just heard the news about St Petersburg image

Pdoc - I'm tired and achy in a good way too image

The garden was sadly neglected last spring and we never really caught up, what with Ma dying and a young relative staying with us unexpectedly for quite a while ... consequently this winter I looked at the garden and felt quite depressed, wondering if I'd ever have the energy to do the things that were needed to get it looking ok again ............. then spring came along and gave a helping hand image  It's looking considerably improved already image

Not very manly I know, but I love a good long soak in the bath, with some bubbles. Would not say no to a glass of bubbles either, but maybe a touch to decadent.

OH has suggested a massage ... so that when I wake up tomorrow I don't spend the first hour saying 'ooooh .... ahhhhhh .... ooomph ..... '  Romantic soul isn't he? image
