    Morning all.

Good news about baby's passport, I hope they will be able to visit as soon as baby is well again.

Trouble typing on here again. I think more people left the forum because the site doesn't work properly if you have feeble Internet, rather than because there was any unpleasantness between posters. I'm getting to the stage when I feel like leaving, it's such a waste of time clicking and clicking and nothing happens. In Norfolk the Internet is good and I don't have troubles. I post on another forum and there is no bother with that. Does anyone know how to contact Nora?

I saw the 'grammar chap' item on the news. I knew a few of us here would be laughing, and applauding him! Brilliant. It's what makes Britain great  image

Glad you've got a bit further forward with the baby LP. Before you know it - he'll be better and able to travel  image

    Enjoy the trip Liri.

Lovely to see you doc  image

I have to admit defeat for some outdoor tasks too, and put the specs on... image

BL - don't give up. Hopefully the techie folk will be able to help.

Glad you're a bit better today a'spy. Take it easy.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Stay BL, I insist image

Mainly been watching wildlife, rather than actual gardening: a ladybird devouring aphids from my tree lupin and a pair of grey wagtails flitting about the mud at the side of the pond.

Warm enough to take jumper off.

Afternoon all! Apologies for disappearing into the fresh spring sudden surge of fresh growth in the garden. Life is getting so busy right now!

My job is now up for grabs if anyone wants it:

    http://www.emergencymuseum.org.uk/workforus.html

Only its TWO JOBS! At least if I don't get through the interview process I know that who ever takes over wont be expected to do quite as much work as I do. Not that the boss has actually acknowledged to me just how hard I work. I'm sure my flowers and box of chocolates must be missing in the post.

I'm not sure yet whether to reapply. I'm looking at all my options and hopefully someone will want to employ me soon.

The house is starting to come on nicely too. Dare I say it... we have PAINT ON SOME OF THE WALLS! Only the first coat mind but its a start!

Hope you're all well. I will try to read back where I can.

Hurrah!  Clari and Pdoc ........ both in one day ............... imageimageimage

All we need now is DD - hope she's ok ((hugs)) DD if you're peeking in image

Clari ........ a similar thing happened to me once ............ I didn't get either job as they said I was over qualified ............ but I'd been doing them both for twelve months on half the money image  Apparently they thought I should be more ambitious for my career  ... never mind the fact that I had two elderly parents I was responsible for and had found that the work and I suited each other.  Neither of the two appointees stayed in the jobs long, and I was asked to re-apply .................... huh image

I hope whatever happens it's right for you ((hugs)) image

    and paint on a wall ............ that's a bit rash isn't it???  Don't overdo things now .........

I've been out there most of the morning weeding, watering and mulching ...... I managed to shorten a lovely strong shoot of my Clematis Venosa Violacea so I've turned it into a cutting ...... ages since I've taken a clematis cutting ... I usually layer them ...... internodal into gritty compost and then put in the shade ..... is that right?
