I don't even have a gas hob now so if the leccy's off we just have to use a candle. Takes a helluva time to boil water for a cuppa though....
Obelixx - I think you've had enough injuries to be going on with! Hope that's nothing too serious.
I've been shifting gravel in between the hail showers. It's gey windy. Got the washing almost dry but I thought it best to bring it in before the big black cloud that was looming decided to open....
Potted up my bargain bulbs I got last week. The Liatris look a bit rough, but even if I get a couple of plants out of them it's still a good little bargain. Sowed a few more sweet peas too. Did it in the kitchen as it was too cold earlier for that sort of thing outside. I've been seed sowing like mad this year. Hope I have room for them all!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
OH should be home very soon, we'll load the car and go so won't be around much for a couple of days. If someone could keep an eye on my seedlings ............
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Hope you have a great weekend with MIL Dove - safe journey.
Hope leccy comes back on soon Amber - at least there are still several hours of daylight left. The freezer will be fine for hours if you don't open it. Mine was ok when the power was off for nearly 2 days - just threw away a bit of sliced bread which had started to go soft. All the meat & stuff was still frozen solid.
Which bad person put up that pic of chish & fips? Could really fancy those right now
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
If it's as cold where you are as it is here, Dove, the seedlings will be huddling together for warmth... I've just come in to escape the sleet. Hope you have a lovely break.
Mmm. Hot cross buns... Hope you get your leccy back soon, Amberspy.
Good luck with keeping Cosmos "rested" for 15 days, Obelixx...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Chicky I've started a thread re creating wildlife pond, it's going OK so far. Mind you I am aching terribly. Went to weightwatchers this morning..... pity I was the only one, it appears there wasn't a meeting today.
Hopefully I'll lose a bit before I go next week so the gain wont be too bad. Having said that I really fancy chocolate at the moment.

Clematis Koreana Stephanie and some seeds followed us home. She's now asleep on the sofa. I think she finds football as exciting as we do.
