Good morning everyone, hope the insomniacs got some sleep in the end.

chicky you are bright and breezy, sounded like you had a good night

the wind started last night and it's obviously been very wet.

    Morning all, afternoon Pat image

Glorious sunshine streaming through the window and I have a day in my own garden today! image

Chicky, glad you enjoyed the play, sos nice to have something that makes you laugh out loud!

GWRS, hope the football was an enjoyable experience even if the result wasn't the desired one.

Morning Joyce, Fairy,Dove,Pdoc,Lilyp and Auntyrach, hope everyone has lovely weather and a good day!

On Sunday I decided to finally sort out my lawn....the really shameful bit of the garden! The problem is there is hardcore underneath from past occupants, ground elder that I stopped spreading to beds but without starting from scratch, never going to rid the lawn of it, and the final issue is that the entire lawn is undulating levels of dips and bumps....then to top it all, this is dressed in dandilions and general weeds.

Only solution...dig the whole thing up!image

This was perhaps an ambitious plan but I'm a stubborn old goat. Halfway there after Sunday. More of the same today! Wish me luck! image

    Morning all.

Dry, but grey and mild here.

Spikey came for supper last night, Mrs Blackbird is collecting nesting materials, my little pair of long tailed tits are around all day every day so I hope they're nesting somewhere. Spring is coming. The sooner they change the clocks the better. I've never understood whey they change 2 months before the shortest day, but don't change again until 3 months after it. grr It's all a plot so we have to have our lights on an hour early at night.
