Even having plaster board fitted makes dust Clari, just from the bits where they fill the screw holes and edges but at least mine is now ready for painting.   Good luck with yours and the big clean up.  I've just done the cutting in on the annex.  Helps me see the little bits of filling I missed and that need fixing before the real stuff goes on tomorrow.   Cosmos kitten has been determined to help and I've had great fun keeping out of the paint pot in the top of the step ladder.

Dust with the vacuum cleaner and then a damp cloth.  Repeat as necessary - ad it will be.

I drink plenty thru the day and know not to get dehydrated but, thanks to a tip from Horlicks, I shall be drinking sugar free tonic water with dinner instead of water.  OH found some on his way back from golf.  I have a Greek yogurt nearly every day with honey and cinnamon to keep lurgies away and we eat plenty of pulses, greens, fish and avocadoes.  Hope the Tonic works.

Thanks.  It's a bit wearing, the lack of sleep.  I decamped last night so OH could sleep undisturbed and Cosmos decided I needed some loving so, as well as cramps, I had loud purring, lots of cuddles, some play, my forehead licked and my hair kneaded.   Lovely.

I am covered in paint and polyfilla again.  I shall have apiece of good quality chocolate, a glass of Tonic and a good hot shower.

    How's your day panning out?

Evening all. You've all been busy and chatty - as usual image

No probs with the sliding thanks - no rocks or large holes (always check that first!)  I'd already earmarked a couple of suitable bits on the way up, but I came down where previous walkers had gone and it was right there. Had a giggle when I saw it.  I considered taking a video, but the camera lens was quite wet with the earlier sleet so I left it tucked up. Liri - that made me laugh re your gran. Hope I can still do it when I'm that age too. Life's too short to not slide in the snow when the opportunity arises! image

I dust that way too Obelixx - always a damp cloth. Much healthier. The dust eventually goes, although it's a painful process image

Did you buy ten cards for a six year old Hosta? I seem to remember having this conversation a while ago! Hope you've both had a good day anyway image

I do that with plants too doc. I doubt I've planted much that hasn't been moved - sometimes just days later.  image

It is apparently fine to dilute the tonic with a little splash of something alcofrolic ... it still works! image

Lunch went well, chatted a lot. We've just been out for a short work and OH has dropped off on the sofa.

As long as he doesn't drop off it!

Spag vongole was good with a glass of wine and a glass of tonic - not mixed - but I now have a yen for dumplings so will have to make a beef stew but Belgian carbonnade with beer for us.   Ooh look.  Mary Berry's doing dumplings too!
