    Hope you thaw soon Joyce.

FG - drop scones are small, thick and fluffy cos they use SR flour instead of plain.  A bit of sugar is optional and I often use vanilla sugar in the mix.    I've googled and Scotch pancakes look very similar.

Getting windier and wetter here.   Nearly 2cms of rain today.

Thanks for all your good wishes, yes i do feel great.  I suffer from arthritis and since losing the weight I have been able to come off some of the medication and it's amazing what a difference it has made, climbing stairs, walking distances and most importantly gardening is all so much easier now.

That's the way of forums - people come and people go and unless we've made a connection with them in the 'real' rather than the virtual world, they may disappear and it's as if they've never existed image

    Night night Dove.

Happy March everyone. Haven't posted for a while, though have been popping in and reading when I can.

The rain seems to be conspiring to fall mainly on my days off, with sun on the days I'm at work. So not a lot is getting done in the garden. Barrowing yet more topsoil through to fill the raised beds whenever I get a spare, dryish half hour. Still, more housework is getting done I suppose!

Have enjoyed the bee conversations (and jokes.. groan) - how lovely to find a wild hive, BL. And how lovely to host some bees, Hosta.

How are all the Dreaded Lurgy sufferers? Everyone feeling better and looking forward to spring?

Is anyone up for a bet? Will the rain come up the valley as far as our place?
