Punk is it socially acceptable to open the medicinal brandy yet? It's been a cold dank day with no real snow and I need to venture out to the shops. If I had a drink - and thus couldn't drive - the hunger might force his lordship to come and help with the bag packing at least.
Afternoon all, What a horrible day, cold and sleety here. Have lit the fire and are about to watch the rugby. Have a beef roast in the oven for later. Envying Pat at the moment, could do with some warm weather. Desperate to get out in the garden but it's just too cold. Secondborn visited lunchtime with Jonah, hes so cuddly at the moment. Very mobile now so spent a lot of time chasing him round the coffee table. It's mums 95th birthday on Wednesday so will have to pop out and get her pressie and some balloons.
Anyone doing anything nice for Valentines day?
Congrats to Possum, and hope lurgied and injured feel better soon.

Awwww so glad to read that Hosta - it's absolutely beautiful.
I expect whoever it was who'd "looked" had been looking for a meringue
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Thanks Hosta
And no, I hadn't heard of it either...
Mmmmmmmm I'm just thinking that tartiflette and a bottle of Chablis might be just the thing for Tuesdays supper ...... It's a real favourite of ours

I read about the dress this morning and just felt so bad for them. How lovely it was resolved. The good side of " social media"
Driving tomorrow and it's going to be bitter again.
