    Hi all

Heavy tarts frost here [ geddit? ]

Heavily lurgified, the day will probably involve a rotation between bed and sofa.

Got it Pdoc  image Brrrrr but nice to look at.

  • Pdoc I strongly recommend Jakemans eucalyptus and menthol sweets - they're really the only thing that has really helped, given that I can't take meds containing decongestant.

Do get plenty of rest, this virus is really enervating and the slightest thing seems to set me back - one set of indoor tennis on Wednesday has knocked me out for nearly a week! image

  • Good morning image

After a very wet and windy night all seems calm and bright today. image I am off into the garden to do a bit of a clearing up job and stock up the bird feeders, I don't think the birds have emptied them, more a case of being blown away. I did notice the bulbs popping through too, after yesterdays weather I think if I were them I would be popping back down again. image

Having acupuncture tomorrow on my dodgy shoulder anyone else any experience of it, I have been assured it works but that is by the acupuncturist. image

Poorly people keep warm and rest up, you all need to be fighting fit for all the spring jobs just around the corner. image

    Morning all.

Glad you enjoyed Wisley, Chicky. You sound perkier.

Don't know how you managed tennis, Dove, brave of you, must be motivated.

The wind has died down, it started up again yesterday afternoon and evening, and the sun is shining, but it's cold.

A friend gave me an Olbas pastille when I was coughing, tasted so disgusting it must have done some good!

  • BL  image  I thought I was better - I'd had several days when I felt 'almost normal' (no tittering at the back there image)

and thought I'd try some gentle exercise ....... "What a mistake-a to make-a!"image

It seemed to cause a relapse, and now I just can't stop coughing - I started to change the bedlinen this morning but OH came and took over as even that bit of 'exercise' had me in a paroxysm of coughing. I'm not bronchitic and don't have a raised temperature so nothing to worry about ... it's just bdooly annoying image

Oh dear Dove image. More rest, then. Just wanted to say you've made my day with your correct use of 'enervating' (little things please little minds, etc). Hope your cough improves.

Going to potter a bit today. Dreading work this week, but it'll be over on Thursday and then I've got a week off.

Be careful Dove. That's how I cracked my rib. Cough almost gone now, but pain in rib is still there, not as acute as it was though.
