    Afternoon all.

Rubbish round this morning. Total technology breakdown. ggrr

After popping home for lunch I was, very briefly , on checkouts. I served a lovely chap, ex of Bergerac and the lovely red car. Charming and witty I have to say.

My friend who has the primula nursery was in and was telling me they're " doing Chelsea" this year for the first time.  Lots of phone calls to and from Japan and lots of local craftspeople making things. Exciting.

    Devon.

Yvie, Liri - I'm going to Chelsea on the Tuesday - so looks like Forkers are covering all days, but with no overlap.  You'll have to remind me about the primula display nearer the time Hosta, I'll make sure I have a shuftyimage

Just in from the garden. Not a nice day, but good for my purposes.  Did pruning and much cutting back of stems.  Many pleasing signs of growth on phlox, delphiniums amd peonies image.  Now ache image  I really need a few more sessions like that to get garden fit again image

I'm all discombobulated by the lack of notifications too. Not used to using followed threads.

Have done some rose pruning today and talked to family on the phone. Loads of rose left to do, weather forecast not very good.

    Waiting for pizza to cook.

Going to the Malvern Spring Show, probably already said.

Yes - that was him. And of course, he used to live in that centre of all things English ... Midsomer.

Good evening , all those going to Chelsea I assume it's the gardens and not the Football Club ?

I'm off to Arsenal on the 11th March to watch the next round of FA cup agsinst Lincoln City ?

Had 3 hours at allotment today , not a bad day weather wise

I need to have a look though seeds as well

Hope everybody is well , finally got rid of lurgy ?

Ps. I am not getting automatic notifications as well

Swiftly bypassing the waste of time that is football (IMHO) are we talking about John Nettles?  Used to fancy him in Bergerac many moons ago but not in Midsomer Murders as he went all huffy and puffy.  Didn't watch Poldark - on a par with football.

    Fire away.   Not ducking.

I gave the b****y gas oven another try at slow roasting some belly pork.  I expect it would be OK connected to town gas or a 1000litre reservoir but your standard domestic bottle just doesn't do it.   Had to finish the joint in the wee combi oven and finish the crackling under the grill, all of which faffing meant I didn't get my sweet peas sown.   It'll be Wednesday now.

Hosta - why does Waitrose do deliveries on Sunday?  I can just about understand Sunday morning opening for the shops but are delivery staff not allowed a day of rest?  Not to mention all those vans rushing about.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I liked him in Bergerac and Midsomer Murders. Like Poldark too, how could you compare it with football? image

I was wondering about Waitrose Sunday deliveries. Nothing is delivered in France on a Sunday. Only very recently that supermarkets were allowed to open on Sunday mornings.

OH is watching the SS thing on TV. I got bored with it and the main actor gets on my nerves.
