Yvie, thanks for your kind thoughts. It's good to think of past times sometimes.
the weather is still pretending that it's going to drop some wet stuff on our gardens, but so far it's all down the end of the valley (as usual). It seems that it can't get past the hills down there.
I noticed something a bit strange in my veggie garden today. I have a pot of carrots and noticed that half the pot had been mown. That's strange, I thought, the parrots only usually take an interest in the sunflowers, which I might add, are gradually being bitten off and dropped on the ground. Next thing, there was a frantic scuttle along the fence. A half-grown Hare was desperately trying to push through the chicken wire. Aha, I thought. It wasn't the irritating parrots. I've done a quick repair where it has been getting through, but I can see there will need to be a major check of the whole fence line.
It's been lovely sunny day, about mid 20s, so far, but no rain.
Enjoy your trip to Arsenal GWRS .....one to savour ⚽️⚽️⚽️ Glad you've seen off the lurgy now.
Schools are back today,so expecting busy roads again - the last two weeks have been lovely, because some places round here had half term last week, and others the week before
Morning all; Chicky I'm not looking forward to the school rush today. I'd quite enjoyed the gentler trips to work these past two weeks! Oh well not long till Summer holidays!
This weekend saw another scout camp at the museum. it involved me cleaning poo across the entire first floor at silky o'clock when one poor beaver had an unfortunate accident. The leaders then tucked him back up to sleep not realising his sleeping bag was also caught in the cross fire. the poor boy! Cue lots more cleaning up without trying to draw attention to the state while everyone was waking up.
It also involved me getting no sleep from 05:30 Saturday til 23:00 Sunday. No sleep. Not even a cat nap.
Lots of ideas for how I want to revise camps for the future but if you see me struggling SEND MORE TEA!!
Today is a clean up the museum day for me ready for school groups tomorrow.

Hi Pat
Just off to bed (again) but have been watching the fun and dance at the Oscars. Well worth looking in if you haven't been following it.

Hi Daisy. No I've not been watching that. It's 6 pm here, so we're lining up for the evening news but not sure after that.
