My first thought when I hear the word 'staples' is those 'u' shaped double ended nails used for fixing wire fences ... That's a farmers daughter for you
Back from a lovely visit to Wonky Lots of snowdrops and lots of other things peeping through, and a Geum Totally Tangerine blooming as if it's midsummer!
I've left my poorly laptop with her Lovely Hub and he will wave a magic wand and make it better so I don't have to post on my phone all the time.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
That's what I think of Dove - or more usually, the kind that go in a staple gun. A vital piece of equipment for us at work. It's hard to believe how difficult it can be to get theright staples and staplers too!
No chance of the weather being good Liri - it's to be snowing, sleeting or raining - or all three depending on height! I may change my mind
I love the sound of your veg bake too
Got out for a quick hour's walk 'round the doors', after doing a few bits and bobs outside. Fatty McFatface was getting peeved at me as I was near the food he wanted

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Dove - I noticed my Geum was starting to flower again - what a star plant as seems to be one of the first 'up' and one of the last 'out'.
Too rainy for any gardening today - total shame as need to crack-on. Small window of dry in the morning so will be going to a local food and craft market. It's located in a lovely park which I walk through in the mornings as it a shortcut from where I park to where I work. It is a very uplifting start to the day and next week should herald the first bursts of yellow as I notice the Daffodils are nearly ready to show their cheery faces. This walk is like a mini de-stress, mindfulness and energy-booster session - all free of charge from The University of Mother Nature.
Firstly many thoughts for Susan and your family at this time. A little piece of me goes out to you.

Weather round the world is a bit nuts, I thought of you and your husband not long ago with the fires. Now you don't know whether to have the aircon or the heating on !!
I'm off to bed now to try and sleep but just wanted to say a big thank you for the jigsaw puzzle site. It's really great.
Afties Pat - and morning Daisy if you're not asleep!
Up to take daughter to work but the weather's vile so I won't be walking. I'll send you some rain Pat - we have plenty to spare. Ground's really saturated
Cup of tea before I go.

Another day, or should that be YET another day at the coal face today. Massive rain moving in later so I hope I've not got too many deliveries this afternoon.
What are you going to do with your " day off" Fairy?
