thanks for that info, good to know.

Life's tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late.

I noticed someone earlier in the thread using tin foil to create a light box. This is one of the best things you can do when light levels are still quite low as it reduces seedlings leaning towards the window and overstretching themselves.

I sowed pelargoniums on January 11th, far and away the earliest bedding seeds I've ever sown. Being slow growing they are still small but with the light box are fairly upright. Antirrhinums sown today.

Wow, everyone's been very busy, lots&lots of lovely seedlings ?

Hello and welcome Paulimage your photos look fine to me. Having a large south facing window sounds ideal for indoor sowing and your plants look great.

Nice tip about the light box Logan? you're racing away.

Looking good Peter, I pot on when I see roots peeping out the bottom of the pots. Did you manage to find seeds for the night sky petunia?  Can't wait to see your home grown babies in your new garden this summer.

Sorry about the damping off jaffacakes, I've done the cinnamon thing too, hope it works.

One week on from sowing and I have a tiny green fuzz showing, lobelia on the left and antirrhinum on the right.

Condensation has been an issue, have been wiping the lids daily. Maybe I should have put some kitchen paper or sand in the bottom.  Still learning, first go with a heated propagator.

I did an indoor sowing of aubretia last March rosemummy.  It was slow to germinate. The packet advised to grow on and plant into final position Sept/Oct.  Mine are still in their little potsimage  This is them today.

    looking good aswell Kitty

No joy with night sky seeds but to be honest I`ve got so many packets I`m not fused if I get any or not.

got 10 orange plug petunias and 12 amore plug petunias on order from T&M so got enough for my needs this year

Plus a packet of 50 seeds for another type of petunia image

Membraned another area of the garden a few weeks back to place 2 coldframes in, running out of lawn to cover lol
