Thx aym 280, I got my labels from garden centre but I will write on them in pencil from now on so they can be recycled,I don't want to be replacing every time. The polystyrene sheets I got from wickes and cut to size.
Life's tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late.
Last year I had loads of plastic flowerpots that needed doing something with, so I cut them into strips with a point at one end and wrote on them with white marker pen which is fine if you only want to use them once. They have been outside in all weathers and still going strong.
No seedlings yet, but I'm planning to plant some laurentia and some lobelia by the end of the month. Oh, and some sweet peas - dwarf ones this year as I don't have enough space. Looking forward to seeing everyone's seedlings grow!

They sell a fairly decent sized pack of little white ones in Wilko for about 75p, aym280

I won't start a lot of sowing until next month, but I've sown some salad leaves.
Left is mizuna, right is mixed salad.
They look good Logan, I'm itching to get started with my seeds, I got a super 7 heated windowsill propogator from santa and am keen to try it out.

My seedlings so far. Geraniums, Oriental poppy, and Lavender.
Advice needed.
Sowed 8 Geranium Buxton Blue in a heated propagator, only took 8 days to germinate.
All 8 are approx 1 inch in height with first leafs developing.
Question
how long do I leave them on the heat for ?
Thanks
Peter
I'd be interested in the answer too Pete as I will be using one shortly
