Well colour coordinated Marion. Love the floating hellebore heads.

An early pulmonaria  in the garden today. (not quite in focus as I shoogle a bit now when crouching down)image

"Shoogle" is a great word. Joyce.  Might borrow that one...  image

    Lovely flowers, Marion!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I tend to shoogle a bit now too Joyce.  Thinking of saving for one of those kneelers cum stool aids.  Or a tripod for my camera!  Or both!  It is a dull drizzly dark day in Bristol but very mild.  The birds are flying very low especially flocks of starlings and crows which have spooked five of my regulars for breakfast.  Even Tosser and Timmy the wood pigeons and Maggie the magpie flew off while there was still some food left.  Blackie and his new mate Brownie stuffed their beaks first before they flew off but Junior the robin and Harry the hedge sparrow persevered till they were full.  Visitors today but I doubt whether any gardening will be done.  It is so much more cheerful in the house with flowers everywhere.

Marion, if I were to kneel down, without my kneeler, I'd never get back up!!!

When working at my pots, I use it as a stool and often sit on it when pruning the heathers. . . . . well worth saving up for. I now have two of them to save carrying one up the steps to the front garden. Anything that helps me to continue gardening.......

I love flowers and bulbs in the house until they get going in the garden. They lift one's spirits.

I have too many birds to start naming them.

Hi Marion, I'm feeling almost human today, the shivers have gone just a stuffed up nose and the feeling of having the stuffing knocked out of me.

I love how you have names for all your birds, it's really nice, we have two robins and a black bird that love pottering around our garden, I throw seeds out for them image

thanks everyone for all your get well wishes, looks like they are working image

Son no 1 arrived for lunch and has been working in the garden all afternoon.  I helped a bit cutting up prunings till the green wheelibin was stuffed.  Lots more light coming in to the terraces now.

10 degrees already in Bristol but raining now.  Still I should get out there tidying up after the big onslaught on the terrace yesterday.  I will take some pictures if it stops raining.
