imageimageimageAn area of my sunken terraced garden in winter and my third amaryllis of the year.

Your spring flowers are so much further on with being a few hundred miles south of here.

Who needs flowers when you have so many shades of green in your garden?  Love it Joyce.  Thank you for posting.

I look down to that area from the sitting room window so I like some winter structure. Many of the shrubs there are azaleas, a rhododendrum and hydrangeas so lots of colour later on.

Oh GWRS i did not stay out long - just long enought to fill two binbags.  It was so dank , damp and miserable out there.  No sign of any sunshine today.  Perhaps tomorrow.

Morning Marion, my day off today, but it's cold damp and grey, roofer is popping to see our chimney today as it seems to be leaking slowly and the wallpaper is coming away at the top, so see what he has to say. Marion yours and your friends flowers are lovely, I love it when snow drops come out, makes me feel like Spring is creeping in ?.

Joyce I love your sunken garden, I bet it's so peaceful to sit in, in spring and summer ?

GWRS we got that heavy rain too ??

Awww, enjoy your day off Flumpy.  when do you start your new job?  Wet here again in Bristol but forecast is for dry and brighter till the late afternoon when rain will return.  I may get out in the garden as it is very mild at nine degrees already.  February now so I will start my early potatoes chitting and sow some broad beans in pots.
