  • Morning chicky and Dove.

Chicky I hope your day ends up better that you expect and that you are not on your lonesome at work.

Dove sorry to hear that you had a bad night, dreams can feel so real!

My nights have not been too good of late, for some reason this time around I am finding it difficult to get comfy due to the op. wound. I still have a few remaining stitches in so perhaps once they are gone it might be better.

Seed sorting day today so that should cheer me up?

Have a good day everyone and take it easy poorly peeps. x

Morning all/ afties Pat if you're about image

Unpleasant Dove....image another quiet day for you then!

chicky - perhaps the mild winter for the viburnum? I used to have one round the corner but I can't remember what it was like. I've just planted a burkwoodii on the boundary here to help with wind filtering. Could have done with it being a bit bigger  last night -very wet and blustery and more to come. I've got too used to this benign weather we've had - forgotten what our normal stuff is like!

Think I've recorded that doc. Emerson was brilliant but totally mad! I watched the Scorsese doc about Dylan. Quite an eye opener. I knew the 'fans' hated him for picking up an electric guitar, but, jeez....image

The stupid questions journalists asked him as well. I suppose they're better informed now, or maybe artists are simply much better at dealing with it. Fascinating.

Better go and get ready for the salt mine too. Catch you all later image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Thanks all - don't worry - I'm ok and being well looked after - OH will be working at home until Thursday so I'll be on the sofa - I'm just not used to being poorly - I usually just ignore it and it goes away and that hasn't worked this time and it's very annoying image

at least there's nothing urgent to be done in the garden image

I hate being ill too. Still coughing and now I've got conjunctivitis.

We were going to Norwich today. I have Christmas present voucher from DIL for Marks and Spencer and OH has an appointment with the bank. But OH is going without me as I'm not feeling well enough. Fed up.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Like you Dove, I'm not use to being unwell, hate having to have things done for me. That could also be why things are taking longer ( or seems to be) to heal and settle this time. With the recent holidays , and family coming to stay I have been determined to still ' do my bit' and help hubs out all that I can despite his protests......bless him. I'd be lost without out him. I bet he finds going to work is a bit of a rest!!!

According to something I read conjunctivitis is a common occurrence with this adenose virus as is an upset tum. Hope you're feeling better soon BL ((hugs)) and everyone.

    Good morning, evening Pat

Dove you sound as if you have a very bad dose, hope today is a turning day and you feel better.

everyone else who is poorly I hope you feel better today.

re viburnum ours is super too but I think I heard our mild winter is to change next weekend. As I arrive in Moscow to better temps, -7,up from -36,  UK is to drop to -13, not often I get it right!!

    have a good day

Morning all. It was stingingly hot outside today, but it eventually clouded over later and by about 4 pm, it started to sprinkle accompanied by thunder and lightning. It wasn't until about dinner time that the rain began to cool things down. Much relief here. Hopefully, there is more over the next few days.it I predicted, but time will tell.

Sorry to hear that people are still suffering.

I was really affected by the story about the forest destruction planned near Fidgets place. Does it never end?
