I shouldn't even imagine the thoughts of a million people will even be mentioned to Trump.
Its starting to get cold. Silly me not to remember to bring three pairs of socks. Two is simply not enough!
A friend in museum land just sent me a message asking if I had a lone worker agreement. Oh how silly! I don't even have a contract why would something designed to ensure my safety be even a tiny thought in the bosses, or trustees minds.
There must be a fun new job out there for me somewhere. I just wish I knew where. Knowing my luck it'll be in the back end of the highlands!
Steady on Clari - at least in the HIghlands, you'd have the scenery along with the cold I'd agree with you too - there's no chance of Trump hearing about any petition, regardless of the numbers, and even if he does, he'd ignore it. Not sure if I'm a realist or a pessimist...
I can just picture Liz after five minutes with Trumpy pants - you have to use a generic impressionist's voice to say it though - " Philip! Set the corgis on him..."
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thanks Joyce, and everyone else too - I'm fine. The irony is that walking helps, but that's what I didn't do...hopeless old tart..
Obelixx - I got a towel radiator for the new shower room and I'm not that impressed, and I'm sure it's the right size for the space etc. Would rather have an ordinary radiator.

We had towel radiators in Belgium and they heated the bathrooms very efficiently as well as giving us somewhere to hang towels to dry in any season, with or without the CH being on. This one would have to be a bit shorter cos of the sloping ceiling but then there is less volume to heat and I don't want a sauna, just somewhere to hang towels. If I get and ordinary radiator and towel rail it'll just take up more space.
We've just had the estimate for 100 metres of fencing with a 3m gate for a horse and a mini digger to sort out the former donkey pasture that will become our potager. That should concentrate OH's mind on a bit of DIY!
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Have you ordered the timber and the sand and cement then Obelixx?
Perhaps I just need my towel rad on longer, but it doesn't seem to heat the space very brilliantly. Maybe it's too small.
I just have to be quick in the shower....
Hopefully the weather will allow me out next week. It's to turn back to our normal winter weather tonight so I've battened the hatches. It got to the giddy heights of four degrees for an hour or so after lunch.

I thought you were talking about me when I read back! Was wondering why Trump didn't want to hold my hand and thinking thank goodness!
Log man came and started repairing the horse fence. I didn't look properly this morning, it's far worse than I thought. I've had to go out and buy yet more posts, there are about 25 that need replacing. The old ones are all rotting at the bottom. Log man said it looks as though the horses had a complete panic attack. I wondered about wild boar as we sometimes have them here and Hannah is terrified of them, but there are no signs of digging.
Log man said when he had been cutting trees recently he nearly bumped into a big red deer with huge antlers on the drive. He said he was scared, it must have weighed over 200 kilos! But it stared at him and then ran off. He thinks it could have scared the horses. I've never seen a red deer in these woods, but one jumped in front of the car about 6kms away, didn't hit it. We have roe deer, much smaller.
Log man is coming back tomorrow.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I'd back an angry Philip against Trump any day
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Fairy, I think the corgis' reaction on seeing Trump will be Grrrrrr then snap at his ankles.
Hope you're feeling better today.
Well let's hope they go for his ankles at the top of the royal staircase. Seems he has a phobia about them. Poor man.
