Hosta - a pity to lose some of your holiday but you are safer being out of the Gambia just now.

Hope all calm Hosta. Holiday company will need to earn their beans now and keep you informed, reassured and safe.

Take care Hosta - hope all goes according to plan.

I know a lovely holiday spot in Cornwall - it's a bit dodgy getting them to let you over the Tamar, but after that the locals are surprisingly friendly, and it is a bit warmer there than on the foothills of Dartmoor ((hugs))

    Stay safe xx

Hope to hear you're back safely very soon, Hosta.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Good morning all image

Jolly frosty out there this morning. According to Radio 4 you'll be flying home within the next 24 hours Hosta ... and you haven't got a warm coat with you image

Oh Hosta what an "interesting" way to the end of your holiday. I hope everything goes smoothly. How sheltered are you to the events outside? It sounds grim.

Only 30 children visiting the museum today; we'll positively echo around the place! It's also museum selfie day so I will be taking many many daft pictures.

No frost here today: just very moist. Still only 6 snowdrops but there is a hint of daffodil sneaking through the slate chippings.

    Please keep safe everyone.
