Never heard of a gender reveal cake but that one is definitely good fun.
Grey here as forecast but not yet wet so OH is out with the dogs before the deluge arrives later on. Kittens are having hysterics and chasing each other all over the house. Great fun.
Quiet day for me cogitating on kitchen logistics as we have to empty it all out and fix and paint the walls before they start and then it will take two weeks as chappy who does the worktop cutting doesn't start till the units are in and he can take perfect measurements. Need to contemplate some sewing too - when the kittens are asleep.
Glad to hear Busy and Dove are on the mend. Hope other lurgy sufferers are too.
Good luck to Chicklet. Possum has already done half of her exams last week but the rest are spread over 10 days and then she'll fly down for a few days of cossetting.

Hope everyone having a pleasant Sunday. Have slow-cooked lamb roasting away so just deciding on baked, roast or mashed potatoes...?
Obelixx: kitchen renovation can be quite disruptive and messy but worth it! I couldn't believe the volume of space that all the contents of cupboards etc. took up when emptied out. The recycling and charity shop did well from me.
Well I got everything other half needed at the shops, nothing for me nor fathers birthday next week. I do so hate shopping centres! Why do people just suddenly slam on the brakes when walking in crowded areas? Can you just step to the side before causing push chairs to crush unsuspecting ankles?
I've spent all afternoon curled up in a blanket keeping warm. The gauge assures me it's 11'C in here but feels much cooler. OH will be home around 19:30 so I am planning a big roast for 20:00 which will inspire my rump to get moving. It'll definately be roast potatoes here Aunty; it would be mutany to offer anything else on a Sunday.

Morning all.
I hope you're all coping with the weather. 33 Forecast for us today so another day by the pool.
Good luck and best wishes for Chicklet.
Raining here. Not gloating are you, Hosta?

Did you have a nice day after that sky, Glenys?
BL - looks like we're both at the same stage
Good to see you Hosta
Sleet here

Hope you mean on the mend, Dove, not that you have hurting ribs. Thanks for the hug earlier.

Definitely improving thanks Glenys, OH is cooking coq au vin and it smells wonderful - it's the first thing I've been able to smell in weeks
