Somewhat preoccupied yesterday afternoon by a dying washing machine. Not a good time of year for that to happen. Nevertheless it is uneconomic to repair so the bullet must me bit - I shall order a new one today.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Baking in school this morning for the Christmas Fair on Friday, then off to Limoges to take Charlie & his friend to an Inter-school Cross Country event, baking again tonight, going to be another hectic day.
Nice to see you Fairy, lovely pictures too, hope you start to recover soon although I expect it's a slow process.
Bad luck on the washing machine front Dove, perhaps you will get one in the 'early' January Sales.
Must dash, catch up later. Good day to all.

Morning all. Good to see Fairy back. Lovely photo Clarice.
Going to a meeting in town this morning. I should have said city, as Dove does for Norwich, it has a cathedral, but Périgueux, although it's the capital of Dordogne, isn't very big so it doesn't feel like a city. Then shopping. Must make 100 mince pies for the Carol Service in the Abbey on Sunday, need butter and flour.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
For East Anglians the town/city distinction is very important. 'Town' is taken to refer to Ipswich Town FC, the home of the 'Tractor Boys' whereas 'City' is assumed to refer to Norwich City FC, the home of 'The Canaries'. The two must never be confused
Good luck with the baking ...

Fairy, it's really good to have you back. Hope the wrist improves with resting. I've been enjoying the jigsaws very much, so thanks.
Off to town shortly, so not much to add to all the comments above. Clever way of treating the kittens. Good luck with job hunting.
catch you later.
Picture of Ardrossan/Ayrshire shore front.
Love that one too, Clarice.
Morning all/afternoon Pat
Temp forecast for 14C today....a pleasant change from the frost.
Lovely pic Clarice. Friend will be driving past there this morning from Wemyss bay Ferry. We're going out for lunch to a rural GC with excellent food
SM delivery early this morning.
Morning all!
