Clari, unfortunately Hubby's body clock is on a different setting to mine! I start work earlier than him and he stays up later than me at the weekend. I've grabbed the purple dressing gown and first coffee and am under a blanket in the back bedroom with the cat that woke me!
Dove is coming to visit today, need to put a silencer on the hoover as Saturday is HW day and hubby still asleep
Good morning. Grey, wet and blowy here but we need the rain so I won't complain. Just checked the local forecast and it's rain all day but sunny spells tomorrow. Looks like an indoors day. Suits me as I still have to apint.
Pdoc - your NDN will be resentful rather than grateful that his son came to you for help and that he had to go to A&E and get SS involved. You did the right thing for the boy but he won't see that. Nature of the beast.
WW - have a good day with Dove.
RaisinG - that is one huge beach. Where is it?
Pat E - Forget bread, stick with the diet. As with many things worth doing it won't be instant but will be good in the long run.
You too Clari. Bloating not good.
Stay snug everyone.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I've got to pop to the shops in a bit then I'll set sail in your direction - I'll send you a text when I leave so you know roughly when to expect me.
Pdoc - Obelixx is spot on with your neighbour's reaction. He obviously feels insecure and anxious about most aspects of his life - that's what makes people aggressive (attack is the best form of defence/fight or flight etc) - the fact that his child needed help from someone - especially you who probably (through no fault of yours) make him feel especially insecure and anxious - there's nothing you can do about it. He will never feel grateful for people making him feel inadequate. He is he and you are you. Maintain a polite distance and leave it at that. ((hugs))
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all - rain seems to be a common theme. We have it here too☔️☔️☔️
Might potter in to local town later, have some things to pick up, and chicklet might come too .....we'll have a go at being "ladies who lunch". Certainly no garden plans
Safe journey Dove! Rain here too I'm afraid, light, but doesn't look like its going anywhere anytime soon!
Hosta, NO, SORRY I CANT THIS TIME, I HAVE PRIOR COMMITMENTS!!! that's what you say! but then you are lovely, but have to remember to be lovely to yourself too!
Think its an indoors day for most of us Obelixx, good luck getting through the painting!
