They don't call it Meadow Hell for nothing. I took mum on half term week. It was full of screaming kids. Avoid the Disney shop and the Lego shop unless you want to come out with the shakes. Hotel Chocolat is good, they often have free samples.
As a member of the 'Elite' I'm just drinking my morning tea from a Royal Worcester cup whilst cocking my little finger in the air. Take no notice Pdoc, it's not worth getting worked up about.
Pat, you have Mabel to a T, she is just that, a real character. Sometimes she makes a comment and I have to look round to see if there is someone else in the room. It doesn't matter how miserable I feel she always says something that makes me laugh.
Glad the arm is improving Dove.
Have to accompany mum to the hearing centre today, just waiting for the home to call me to say the transport has arrived, could be anytime between now and 12.30. Hope it's later than sooner, her appt isn't until 1.30 and it's pretty miserable sitting around in waiting rooms, especially as mum's conversations these days are usually a repeat of what she told you last time
Think Norwich's Chapelfield is enough for me - that also has Hotel Chocolat - a couple of good places to eat (Carluccio's and Café Rouge) and is just a very short wander from Norwich's fabulous market, not to mention all the little independent shops in The Lanes.
I have never knowingly been in a Disney shop (and I've a feeling that if I had, I would know about it )
Fidget, I keep meaning to say, my Rosa glauca is a picture - covered with hips

See, I knew it would have a good home. Now I just need a home for a rooted cutting off of the biggest rose in the town, possibly the county. Somewhere it can ramble up 30ft or more. It needs saving for posterity, before a bulldozer goes through the only ones in existence.

I used to take a crossword (or buy a newspaper with one) and sit with my Dad reading out the clues. It passed the time (hours - you begin to realise why they call them 'patients', don't you?) and often ended in our neighbours in the waiting room joining in, keeping everyone's spirits up a little.
Hope it all goes well

strange how the name conjures up something totally different - something akin to the old Timotei advert eh?

I've just looked at Meadowhall's website, it's all about Christmas shopping. Afraid it's going to cost you money, punkdoc.
